Dr. Alisun Bonville is a licensed naturopathic physician who practices primary and family medicine. She has a passion for naturopathic medicine and its capacity to optimize your health.
Dr. Bonville believes that naturopathic medicine can help you feel great, look wonderful, and have the energy you need to enjoy life. She feels that the body has the ability to heal its self and she will help you discover the root cause of you disease or imbalance. Dr. Bonville is an expert at putting these principals into action to create a personalized treatment approach that will help you achieve your goals.
While she enjoys all aspects of family healthcare, Dr. Bonville holds special interest in women’s health issues, hormone imbalances, and holistic cancer care. Her focus is in general gynecology, menstrual disorders, menopause, infertility and pre-pregnancy counseling. She offers a full scope of women’s health care needs including annual exams, breast exams, hormone testing, and nutritional screening. She is committed to providing an integrative experience, combining traditional medicine with naturopathic philosophy.
In addition, Dr. Bonville provides complimentary cancer care that will optimize your conventional treatments and minimize side effects. She is able to work closely with your oncologist or other practitioners on your behalf to maximize treatment success.
Dr. Bonville graduated with a Doctorate in naturopathic medicine from National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR. While at NCNM she did extensive training in women’s health, homeopathy, and oncology. She has had the opportunity to mentor under some of the top integrative doctors in the United States, including Dr. Tori Hudson, Dr. Dickson Thom, and Dr. Paul Herscu during her time as an intern. She completed several extracurricular certificate programs in classical homeopathy, bio-therapeutic drainage, and gynecology.
Prior to NCNM, Dr Bonville completed a post-graduate internship at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA earning a license in Medical Technology. For seven years she worked as a medical technologist at Norwest Cancer Center in Portland, OR where she worked directly with cancer patients and specialized in hematology and oncology. Dr. Bonville earned a BS in Microbiology/Medial Technology from Montana State University.
Dr Bonville prides herself on having a passion for nature and the environment. She balances her career with yoga, rock climbing, and connecting with nature at every opportunity. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and son in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
